Updated: Jan 4, 2022

Beautiful & Ethical Interiors

The relationship between an artisan and a beautiful handmade piece creates a story, which makes each product not a mass market item, but an individually crafted piece.”

As we become more aware of who makes our clothes and where our food comes from, following the viewing of multiple documentaries on the matter; is it about time we start to look towards more sustainable interiors? This doesn't have to mean up-cycling your draws with a lick of toxic free paint ( although also enjoyable ), there are lots of beautiful items and talented makers out there for those of us addicted to that spending buzz!

Here are a selection to get you started, just click on the images for a link to the respective websites:

TOAST

TOAST began design in a farmhouse is Wales, founded by James and Jessica Seaton in 1997. The heart of the collections was in a more thoughtful and slower way of life. Today the brand is led by Suzie de Rohan Wilner and curates clothing, homeware and editorial items. They collaborate with artisans from around the globe to create handmade pieces from ikat weaving in India to shoe making in Northamptonshire. You can rest assured that an item purchased from TOAST has been created sustainably and paid for fairly.
