As mentioned on my last post - purple is making a comeback! Albeit Pantone describe the colour as being a blue with red undertone. Surely we all know that makes purple?
Where has it come from? Where will we see it?
The colour has strong links to the progressing digital world, ai and the meta-universe.So how does this translate into interiors? As quite a hard colour to digest I'm sceptical on the use of it to create a restful home - at least on a larger scale. Lavender, aubergine or plum tones can be easy on the eye and create great office and living spaces but Very Peri feels , almost electric - like a lightening strike - Back to the Future style. Perhaps we look to accessorising or colour blocking if you're loving it and want to introduce it.
I'm certainly interested to see where this shade will come into it's own - perhaps more so in branding, packaging or fashion. We shall see, after all it is a purple and purple is like marmite.
